Along the way, your driver stops at panoramic viewpoints and traditional Berber villages for photos.

After descending from the mountains, you arrive at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient kasbah has appeared in dozens of films and series including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You have time to explore and take photos.

The Todra River has carved a narrow canyon between walls of rock up to 300 meters high. You walk along the riverbed between these towering walls — an experience that feels both humbling and unforgettable.

The road then continues through palm groves, desert towns, and fossil areas near Erfoud. By late afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. The first sight of the golden dunes rising from the flat desert plain is a moment travelers remember for life.

After a short rest, you mount your camels for the sunset camel trek into the dunes. Riding through the soft sand as the sky turns crimson, gold, and violet is one of the most iconic experiences in all of Morocco.
